1 Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion;
And to You the vow shall be performed.
2 O You who hear prayer,
To You all flesh will come.
3 Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions,
You will provide atonement for them.
4 Blessed is the man You choose,
And cause to approach You,
That he may dwell in Your courts.
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Of Your holy temple.
5 By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,
O God of our salvation,
You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,
And of the far-off seas;
6 Who established the mountains by His strength,
Being clothed with power;
7 You who still the noise of the seas,
The noise of their waves,
And the tumult of the peoples.
8 They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice.
9 You visit the earth and water it,
You greatly enrich it;
The river of God is full of water;
You provide their grain,
For so You have prepared it.
10 You water its ridges abundantly,
You settle its furrows;
You make it soft with showers,
You bless its growth.
11 You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness,
And the little hills rejoice on every side.

everyone. Good morning! Okay, we are at Psalm 65. Welcome to Coffee and Devotions. This is where every day we get together, we get into God's Word, and we grow in our love for the Lord together. And this year, 2021, we'll make it through all of the? Wisdom literature. That's right. And this morning, we're at Psalm 65.
So I hope you have your coffee or your tea with you. I've got my coffee here. Let's see, Daniel, let's try not to spill tea on Daddy's head. Okay, let's have some coffee or tea. We'll pray and we'll get into God's Word. You guys ready to pray? Okay. Lord, we thank you so much for this day and we thank you for your word. We pray now that as we read it, you would bless us and care for us, that we would understand and believe in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, here we go. Psalm 65. Right here, guys. To the chief musician, a psalm of David.
Praise is awaiting you, O God, in Zion, and to you the vow shall be performed. O you who hear prayer, to you all flesh will come. Iniquities prevail against me as for our transgressions. You will provide atonement for them. Oh boy, what's awaiting God? Praise. And what does it say about God? What does he hear? He hears our prayer. And even though we're sinners, what does he give us? He will provide atonement. Atonement. He's going to wash us over in the blood of Jesus. That's right.

Oh, very good. He's a good God to praise, isn't he? That's right. We can go to him. We can trust him. He cares for the sparrows of the field, so we don't need to be anxious. He is the one who brings the showers upon the earth and gives the lilies of the field their beautiful raiment. He's going to care for us, isn't he? Is he going to care for you guys? That's right. He's the one who will fill our bellies and will give us everything we need. We need not be anxious or afraid.
Let's pray. Father, we thank you that you have given us so much, that you, the master and the maker of the universe, have revealed yourself to us. We pray that we would follow after you with all of our hearts, that you would wipe away our anxiety and fear, because we know that you are the one who has made all things and controls all things for the good of your people.
