An unofficial group for Single Adult members of RPCNA churches. The purpose of this group is to increase fellowship with each other by providing a godly environment for single adults in RPCNA churches to meet and build God-blessed friendships and potentially relationships too. Once you complete the application questions, the admins will receive a notice. An admin will either follow up with you for unanswered questions and/or you will be admitted to the group, at their earliest convenience.

Being removed from the group once becoming a member is as simple as clicking "Leave group".

Code of Conduct

These are the rules that members of the Facebook group “RPCNA Singles”, a group for the fellowship of single adult, worshipping at a RP Church, must follow to facilitate fellowship and discussion that is spiritually edifying and enjoyable.

Administrators may occasionally change the rules. Members may inquire about rule changes by sending a private message to an Administrator.

Fellowship Behavior

  1. The 1st and 2nd Greatest Commandments are the underlying rules to this group: love for God and love for neighbor. (Matthew 22:38-39)

  2. Be civil and respectful especially when you may disagree with a person.

  3. Persistent argumentation that is false and intentional will receive a warning on the first offense and a ban on the second offense. Members are to dialogue with integrity (9th Commandment).

  4. Bearing false witness (against the 9th Commandment) includes but is not limited to lying. The first offense is a warning, and the second offense is a ban.

  5. Spam will not be tolerated. The first offense will receive a warning. The second offense will receive a ban from the group.

  6. If a person is banned from the group, one of the administrators will notify the person of the ban since the person has the right to know the what and why of the ban. Hence, the administrators will not ban a person without due notification.

  7. Respect the privacy of communications within the closed RPCNA Singles group. Screenshots shared outside of the group violate this privacy.

  8. This is not a dating or courtship group but is a group primarily for the fellowship of the brethren in RP churches. This does not prohibit members from pursuing one another, but to keep in mind that the members are our brothers and sisters before potential love interests. We expect the utmost respect and consideration when engaging the opposite sex.

  9. We are here to uplift one another through Christian fellowship and love. Avoid public shaming.

  10. The admins reserve the right to act against behavior or content that is determined to be unfit for this group that may not be covered by these codes of conduct.

Offensive Material and Resolving Conflicts

  1. The underlying rule to resolving conflicts is Matthew 18:15-17: first, try to resolve it privately (and not on the group page) and if it is not resolved, involve an administrator. No one may block an administrator lest the admins will consider banning the person who blocks an admin. A leniency period of 1 week will be given, and if the block is not removed within that time, then the blocker will be removed from the group. Muting such member(s) will be at the discretion of the admins.

  2. Offensive material should be brought to the attention of one of the administrators first instead of reporting it to Facebook. (Facebook is very relative and loose on what they consider offensive.) The administrator will consider the grievance and take appropriate action such as deleting the offensive material.

Reformed Doctrine

  1. *This group is a forum for dialogue and fellowship among brothers and sisters who are single in the RP churches. Therefore, the principal and governing subordinate Standards of the group are the Westminster Standards.

  2. The administrators will not tolerate posts that

    1. Are reposts of what admins had previously removed for violation of code of conduct. Banning of member(s) who reposts prior removed post will be at the admins’ discretion.

    2. supports any form of racism (including Kinism)

    3. supports Radical Equality (i.e, no limitations on women being ordained as Elders).

    4. supports Full Preterism (i.e, the 2nd Coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead have already happened and are not future)

    5. Speaks against RP Singles admins, members, the group in general.

Administrators

  1. The administrators will moderate the group according to the wisdom of God’s word and biblical rules for dialogue and fellowship as explained earlier in this document.

  2. Although the administrators will disagree on occasions regarding minor/non-essential doctrines, the entire administrative team agree on all fundamental Christian doctrines and subscribe to the Principal Standards of this group. We further believe that the said Standards are entirely subordinate to the Bible and that the Bible is the alone infallible rule of Faith.

  3. The administrators are always open to suggestions to improving the group.

  4. If you are dissatisfied with the action of one administrator (bans, deletions, warnings), you may appeal the action to another administrator (in a Private Message, not in the group forum) if you are unable to resolve the dissatisfaction privately. Then, the administrative team will take up the appeal and reach a consensus. Any such prior postings which did show dissatisfaction with the action of one administrator or others will be deleted (in retrospect).
