1 Praise the Lord!
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore!
3 From the rising of the sun to its going down
The Lord’s name is to be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations,
His glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the Lord our God,
Who dwells on high,
6 Who humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?
7 He raises the poor out of the dust,
And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,

What do you say? You're silly. You are a silly man. Okay, well, you guys ready to do Coffee and Devotions? Okay, well, good morning and welcome to Coffee and Devotions. This is where every day we get together, we get into God's Word, and we grow in our love for the Lord together. And this year, 2021, we'll make it through all the wisdom literature. Well, today we are at Psalm 113 in our normal spot. You guys got your tea? What type of tea are you drinking today? Peppermint tea. I got my coffee with a little bit of sugar for you. That's right. Oh, I know you love sugar. Okay, well why don't we go ahead and have some coffee.
We'll pray and we'll get into God's Word. Let's pray. Father, we thank you so much for this day. We thank you for your word. We thank you for how you care for us. We thank you that you hear us and that you bow down, Lord, not in submission to us, but Lord, in love, you lend us your ear. We pray that we might have ears to hear ourselves now. In Jesus' name, amen. All right, here we go. Psalm 113. You guys ready? All right. Deborah, you can read the first three verses.
Praise the Lord. Praise, O Son of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Because He's He seriously made us. He made the earth. And if he wasn't there, we wouldn't even be here. That's right. He created everything and nothing exists without him, right? That's right. And here... No! No! I go with Papa! Yeah, when we die, we'll go with Papa. You're right, we'll see him in heaven.
But what does it say here? Is he a god who just sits up in heaven and doesn't care about his people? No, he gives the poor widow a home. Yeah, he cares for his people, doesn't he? He cares for us. Is the Lord caring for you? Do you praise Him for who He is and what He has done? Do you look to Him and know that He loves His people and He cares for them?
Let's pray together now. Father, we thank You so much that we can praise You. We thank You that You care for Your people, that You hear our prayers, and that You lift us out of affliction. Father, we pray that we would praise you all the days of our lives. In Jesus' name, amen. Well, may the Lord bless you today as you praise him for all of his glorious deeds and for who he is.
