The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), Ge 4:25–26.

A — About

What Is This Passage About?

After Abel's murder and the corruption of Cain's line, God's grace endures amid profound sorrow: he appoints Seth as another seed, gives Seth a son, and preserves a godly line whose people begin publicly calling on the covenant name of the Lord in trust and worship.

B — Best Verse

Which Verse Best Summarizes the Passage?

Genesis 4:26b

Then men began to call on the name of Jehovah.

Bryan explicitly underlines the second half of verse 26 because it shows the godly line entering covenant relationship with the Lord by calling upon his revealed name.

C — Called or Christ

C — Christ Connection

Trust God's enduring grace amid sorrow, call upon and own the Lord as your God, receive and rest on him as offered in the gospel, and cling to his covenant promise of the coming Seed with the fuller knowledge now given in Christ.
