Scripture Passage
The Work Completed
32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished. And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did. 33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets; 34 the covering of ram skins dyed red, the covering of badger skins, and the veil of the covering; 35 the ark of the Testimony with its poles, and the mercy seat; 36 the table, all its utensils, and the showbread; 37 the pure gold lampstand with its lamps (the lamps set in order), all its utensils, and the oil for light; 38 the gold altar, the anointing oil, and the sweet incense; the screen for the tabernacle door; 39 the bronze altar, its grate of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils; the laver with its base; 40 the hangings of the court, its pillars and its sockets, the screen for the court gate, its cords, and its pegs; all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting; 41 and the garments of ministry, to minister in the holy place: the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister as priests.
42 According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work. 43 Then Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses blessed them.

hey hey good morning good morning welcome to coffee and devotions this where every day you and I we get together we have a little bit of coffee we get into God's word and we grow in our love for the Lord together in this year 2023 Lord willing we'll make it from Genesis through Leviticus I'm so glad to be with you today let's have some coffee we'll pray and we'll get into God's word let's pray father we thank you so much it's a joy to come to your word Lord we confess to you that often this is not a first priority we confess to you that sometimes we come to your word and our hearts are hard but father we pray that you would please bless us despite our hearts that you would use your word and by the power of your spirit you would turn us to you and make us more and more into the people you would have us to be in Jesus's name amen all right here we go so we are at Exodus CH 39 and we'll begin at verse 32 and we'll wrap up Exodus chapter 39 today so Exodus chapter 39 here we go this all the work of the Tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished and the children of Israel did according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses so they did and they brought the Tabernacle to Moses the tent and all its Furnishing its clasps its boards its bars its pillars and its sockets the covering of ram skins died red the covering of badger skins and the veil of the covering the Ark of the testimony with its poles and The Mercy Seat the table all its utensils and the showbread the pure gold lampstand with its lamps the lamps set in order and its utensils and the oil for the light the gold altar the anointing oil and the sweet incense the screen of the Tabernacle door the bronze altar its gate of bronze its poles and all its utensils the Laver with its base the hanging of it of the Court its pillars and its sockets the screen for the court gate its cords and its pegs all the utensils for the service of the Tabernacle for the tent of meeting and the garments of ministry to minister in the Holy place the holy garments for Aaron the priest and his son's garments to minister as priests according to all that yehovah had commanded Moses so the children of Israel did all the work then Moses looked over all the work and indeed they had done it as the Lord had commanded just so they had done it and and Moses blessed them well we need to ask ourselves a what's this about B what's the best verse to summarizes and see what are we called to do well the work is done right from from chapter like the middle of Exodus right the 20s God had been describing everything that needed to be built all the stuff here's all the patterns here's the altar Here's the the uh the the Laver here's the lampstand here's the table here's the incense all this stuff here here's how you're supposed to make it and now God's people had done it they had made everything just as God commanded and they bring it all to Moses and with happy Hearts they're able to take it to the mediator and able to say God gave you the pattern and we followed it look here here's the altar look here's the garments look here's the the the Laver here's all the utensils here's here's everything here's the the badger skins here's all this stuff we did exactly as God said in his pattern and Moses looks over all it in indeed they weren't blowing smoke this was true they had done it now these are the same people I mean we just have to turn back we're at chapter 39 now but if we had just gone back a few pages well we would find that the people had broken God's command in verse 32 or chapter 32 only seven chapters from their Covenant Disobedience and now flip over a few pages and they have been diligent in their work of repentance they have been diligent in their work of service and love for their Covenant King yehovah God had been gracious to them God had been patient with them and now they did as the Lord had commanded them so what's the best verse to summarize us well in my Bible I have a few things underlined I have the second half of verse 32 and the children of Israel did according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses so they did and then verse 42 according to all that the Lord had commanded mes Moes so the children of Israel did all the work and then the very last part and Moses blessed them I love that part don't you Moses blesses them he says good words unto them bar blessing he pronounces upon them the Lord's grace and mercy and goodness and pleasure towards some because by faith they had done these things out of Hearts of fidelity they have served their King well and Moses and one who's going between God and the tribe whose face shines with the glory of God as he meets with him at the tent of meeting outside the camp he comes and he says man this is amazing compared to seven chapters ago when you guys were dancing to that golden calf you really repented this is a high point this is a beautiful part in the story of God's people now it's not the highest point though we're on the uphill swing things are looking good I mean they're obedient but none of it's being used yet we get to get into that later there's something better coming but things are coming together God's people are obedient and they're following him so what are we called to do do we walk in that way am I obedient do I keep God before my eyes and know who he is and seek to bring my life into Conformity with what he has told me as the pattern for his Covenant people or do I do whatever I want to do do you do whatever you want to do or do you follow after him I pray that you would let's go ahead and pray that now father we pray we need your Holy Spirit we need you we need you Lord to teach us and to lead us to guide us in the paths of righteousness to keep us from being led into temptation Deliver us from evil Lord and work in our hearts because you have saved us by your grace through faith or by faith through Grace Lord You've saved us you you've done this it's a gift from you but Lord now we pray that we would walk in the good works that you have prepared for us to do beforehand that we' walk in in the light that you might bless us you've already blessed us in saving us you're our King bless us with obedience Lord in Jesus's name amen May the Lord's face shine upon you may you know his grace and peace and may you walk in his paths I'll see you
