Covid Update 2/27

The Blessing of Worship

What a blessing it was to get to worship together last week & celebrate Landon Mairet’s baptism!

Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us:

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Thanks God we get to worship together. We need to worship together. Under normal circumstances we should do everything necessary to prioritize God’s worship. God has commanded it.

Covid Instructions

Was I exposed?

If you were closer than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes to someone with Covid you should follow the CDC guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html)

How do I get tested?

Here is the website where you can register to get tested: https://www.testiowa.com/en

Caution and Wisdom without Fear

We need not live in fear of getting this virus. Anyone can get it. And, praise God for the majority of people it will not be fatal. However, the virus is real as well as the effects. So please take necessary actions. Please see a doctor if you have any breathing problems. The Lord has blessed us with doctors and researchers who have been able to find therapeutics to radically decrease the fatality rate and long term effects of the virus.

This Sunday

We will be worshiping online Sunday since some in the congregation (including Pastor Bryan) were exposed.

Who should get tested or quarantine?

If you were within 6 feet for longer than 15 minutes to Jen Mena please follow the guidelines above. Please be praying for Jen and the rest of the Mena family. Let them know how much you care for them!
